The FAQ
Do you Travel?
Yes, a travel fee does apply depending on the location and type of session. I regularly travel to Melbourne/Victoria as well as regions of Tasmania. Get in touch to discuss.
How do we get our photos?
All photos are delivered via a secure online gallery. After your session, I will email you a link where you can download, purchase additional images, or order prints from my online print store.
How do we book you?
Send me an email at hello@becbaxterphotography.com or send me a message via the contact page on this website.
What is natural light photography?
Natural light photography is simply working with natural sunlight. This can include ambient lightings like lamps, ceiling lights, or fairy lights. If indoors I will often work around windows and outdoor sessions will typically be held around sunrise or sunset.
Occasionally, a flash is required for evening indoor events like weddings, but my preference will always be to work with natural lighting indoors or outdoors.
How many photos do we get?
The amount of photos you receive depends on the photography package you have selected and the session time frame. Take a look at my portrait photography packages for more information, or get in touch to discuss wedding and branding photography.
Whats your turn around time?
For sessions 1.5 hours or less the turnaround time is approx 2 weeks.
For weddings and large events please allow up to 4-6 weeks.
What should we wear?
I will always advocate something you are comfortable in and that makes you feel amazing. A general rule of thumb for lighting is to avoid too many dark colours, especially when working indoors. If you have any concerns regarding what to wear send me a message and we can chat!
I don't like having my photo taken!
Would it surprise you to learn, I also don't like having my photo taken?
During a session, I will avoid posing and aim to capture candid emotion-filled moments of you and your loved one. My sessions are centered around movement and I will often ask you to go for a walk, give your loved one a cuddle or kiss, crack a joke or simply enjoy the view.
